Koko Marina Center 2nd Annual Skate Ramp Jam
Saturday, August 21st
Join us for our second annual Skate Ramp Jam held in the First Hawaiian Bank parking lot next to 24 Hour Fitness from 9 am – 5 pm.

Koko Marina Center along with Local 808 Entertainment is inviting skateboarding enthusiasts across the state to participate in a mini-ramp contest. Contestants can pre-register in four age categories including 10 & under, 11 – 13 years old, 14 – 16 years old and 17 & over by visiting www.local808.net. The contest will be limited to the first 20 entrants in each age category. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place contestants in each category. Event sponsors include Da Kine, LRG and Local 808 Entertainment.

During the event, there will be a street obstacle free skate area to sharpen your skills. Those under the age of 18 will only be allowed to enter with parental consent via a signed waiver provided at the event, and all skaters will be required to wear proper safety gear. There will be prizes given away all day and event-goers can interact with the skateboarders, enjoy demonstrations by local sponsored skateboarders and shop at an exclusive Surf Sample Sale including brands like DC Shoes, Jedidiah, Island Tat, Ezekiel, Dynamic and more!

Koko Marina Center Presents…. The Band Challenge and Soloist Contest!
Open to anyone 13 – 18 years of age. 
BAND CHALLENGEIf you are in a band or are an up and coming solo singer this is the contest for you!
Over $3,000 in prizes given away in the competition. Including Voice lessons, a professional recorded single and much more!  

Finals will be held at Koko Marina Center on August 28, 2010 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Bring your fans and friends, crowd response is counted as points to your final score!
