A LETTER TO THE CLASS OF 2020 COUGARS,
We hope you feel the love! Thank you for joining the Last Ride Caravan and Finale. Each one of you were essential to making it so rewarding and complete.
The event would not have been possible without so many generous hands. Thank you to site volunteers Jeannie Bahng, Debbie and Steve Covello, Darrah and John Kelly, Patricia Nevada, Trent Fong, Ellen May, Danielle Cunha, Shawn Ibara, Ann Olson, Alex Mora and the Hawaii Kai Lion’s Club. We truly appreciate Chris Chang for the videography, Brian and Tina Vidinhar for the lead flatbed and sound system, Rich Kiyabu for DJ-ing, Valen Ahlo for photography, and Sam Mokuohai for the drone footage. Mahalo to everyone else that stepped up to help throughout.
There are no words to express the gratitude we have for Krysti Peacock and Daniel Chung of Koko Marina Center. They took a chance and gave us an in-person location when no one else would. With just 1 week till graduation and not many options left, we contacted them and they immediately said yes. Koko Marina also provided the site preparation, extra security, and professional photographer. They wanted to help make this happen for you graduates, asking nothing in return.
